QSL
May be ok, heard a station (no call needed) from PEI calling in when having 240
deg bev to SA.
Very bad conditions listening in normal direction to NA (2x 400m to NA 315deg).
73 Per SM2LIY operating from SJ2W QTH as SM2M
Hope it will get better in the evening, UA9 also hard to get, very few....

Yes, W1NA is often a good signal . . . so it probably WAS a genuine contact.
The only NA station I worked was Jeff VY1ZM
The problem on SSB is that with all the splatter from the EU stations, there
are no clear frequencies, so stations have to be at least S7 to be readable.
(under good conditions many NA stations are well over S9)
I tuned across the band a few times during the night, but couldn't copy any
other NA stations.
I didn't bother calling CQ, as I don't want to be called by hundreds of
Europeans . . . but there were obviously plenty that were - did any of you
NA guys copy them last night?
Maybe propagation will be better tonight !
