Having myself been through Lyme disease and treatment, as well as my
wife, we are walking billboards for trying to get people to be aware
of this horrible disease.
If you have been bit by a tick and you're in an endemic Lyme area,
please see a doctor asap. My wife and I both had it (probably) for
many years before treatment, and out here in W6, not very many doctors
know what it is or how to diagnose it. The longer its in your system
without being treated, seemingly the worse it gets, the more damage it
does, and the harder it is to eradicate.
It slowed me down a lot, and ruined my wife's life.
Every day that I take another breath, go to the gym, or do a 48 hour
contest, I smirk because I feel like I have beat it, but it wasn't
without a gnarly fight.
Please heed the warnings everyone as you're out laying beverages,
radials, etc. Such a little bug can do so much damage.
