First off - I am as guilty as anyone else is about not being as active.
And I can't use FT8 as an excuse, since I do not use that mode.
However, I find motivation to CQ with no results thanks to the RBN
network. I find it much
more gratifying to call CQ if I can see that my signal is getting somewhere
useful.
It also helps warm up the shack on the colder mornings that are starting to
ramp up
here in the Northern Hemisphere.

PS: The plaques for the December 2023 Stew Perry have been finalized and
the listing updated.
They are on order earlier than ever before and hopefully we can avoid the
XMAS rush
at the post office. The next Stew Perry is on the weekend of Oct 19,20.
