I have my 160m skimmer running all year sending reports to RBN, it has 100m
long beverage unterminated running east/west so hears ok, but sometimes
conditions here in Scotland don’t seem as favourable as to the south.

There are some seasonal skimmers and that makes sense when there is a
little activity.

Looking at RBN I have received NA stations the last three nights, then it
is very sporadic during summer with March being the last period of regular
daily activity. Other continents have year to pick up so far.

I did make my first 80m CW contact of the season into VK at the weekend
which is a bit later than last year but possibly everyone is occupied on
the higher bands.
