 here is my message belowto try and repair some dull or dead segmented lcd 
displays on older transceivers, just shine a infrared lamo against the display, 
being careful not to over heat it. You should see some of the segments kick 
into life and eventuall all. If not repeat ad nauseaum hi

Carib signals could be heard from northern WIS on 160. No bevs just 70? phased 
verticals. PJ2, 8P6, KP4 were all good but few NA stations making it thru.
