We have long followed this guideline for
QSL info on this reflector:
"Occasional problem 160 QSL requests are OK but
use this reflector ONLY as a last resort after trying the
usual sources."
The reason is to keep from turning the reflector into a
source of general information that is readily available
elsewhere. Here is a good link which has multiple
sources of QSL manager info:
http://www.qsl.net/pathfinder/WebClient/
"QSLInfo", "IK3QAR" and "OZ7C" are some of the
best sources of QSL info. In addition, searching
"DXS" (DX Summit) for the call and year in question
will often help diagnose miscopied calls, etc. Some
links above (e.g. "GOLIST") require that you be a
subscriber but most do not.
Please also be patient and give the QSL
managers some time to respond. If you have
sent cards to the managers listed above, and
still received nothing after 1 year, then it may be
appropriate to ask on the reflector AS A LAST
RESORT.
Thanks for you help in keeping the
reflector focused on 160 information.
73, Bill W4ZV
