This sounds like the internet version of someone getting the blessings from
the
"List Police" on 20 or 15 meter nets. If someone doesn't chime in after a QSO
and say "good contact", it is no good. Confirmation of a contact is a very
personal thing, only between the TWO stations involved. You are either in the
log or not in the log. You send a card if he is in your log, and you get a
card
if you are in his log. Even if someone had heard Glenn's call sign coming from
VK9LX it would not necessarily mean that Glenn was in/not in their log.
Just send the cards, guys...you need no blessings from list masters, frequency
police, or news group subscribers to validate a QSO. If you get a note back
saying
"not in log" (I have a shoe box full of these!) just work 'em again next
time they
are on.
