Wanted Hams to help on 160 meter Propergation Forcasting Experiment!
Being a Top Bander for years, I take a lot of this new info with a grain of
salt, what I'm getting at is their has to be some correlation of info to
TRY to predict some paths of propergation on TOP Band.
I'm in the process of setting up some experimental HAM Beacons, I have a
antenna
design by W2PJ which I used in R.I., using this antenna and a low power TX.
I would say we need stations located in Europe, Africia, Asia S.A. and
stations located in NE US, Atlantic seaboard( thats me), S.US, West coast
and NW US as well as Mid
US.
What also would be needed is WX forxcasting, Wx conditions & Temp recording
as well as Solar flux, and other info provided via SWARM and ProLab.
I would have to say that if your not in it for the long haul, that it would
be of limited use, as long term obligaton is needed.
