FYI, Icom's AH-4, external auto tuner, is only rated for –10°C to +60°C (+14°F
to +140°F).
I have had users complain about the auto tuner not working during severe cold
snaps. Mine
is on the north side of a 4x4 post in the pasture, so it gets some AM and PM
sun in the winter.
It was -1f last night here in SE NH., colder up north.
