It's a common misconception that all 3/8 wave L antennas automatically radiate a majority of it's radiation at a high angle. Actually it all boils down to it's set up configuration. I've successfully used 3/8 L's and even 1/2 wave Tees with low take off angles for a number of years. 73, T. F. Giella, KN4LF |
