Would like to hear comments on a 160 meter delta loop antenna verses dipole. I am torn between erecting a dipole at 250 feet above ground or a delta loop with the horz side at 250 feet above ground. I plan to be operating the 160 arrl contest with QRP. Also would be the option for a 1/4 or 1/2 wave vertical antenna. Any stats on call districts where most contesting stations operate from? Thanks for any opinions in advance. Bob N3UR @ arrl.net |
