This morning (NA time) VK3ZL mentioned to me that 1827 was a bad QRG due to
a strong, ever-present broadcast spur. I asked the TX5 op to QSY up to
1828. He thanked me, acknowledged my request, and immediately QSYd to 1828.
He continued on 1828 until my SR. The TX5 op, so far, has not been as
strong on TB here as VP6 and they were plagued this morning with QRN. They
are, however, seeming to make a serious low band effort in spite of their
challenges. They worked a huge number of stations this morning on 75 and 80
meters.
