As I have often mentioned before, I have always used a Low Dipole or End-fed Half Wave on 160m for the past 50 years at different QTHs . . . and worked around 300 countries. I currently have a horizontal Half Wave Dipole at 50 feet . . . and my signal across the pond on RBN usually is very similar to most other EU DXers, who nearly all use verticals.
