Joe,
The first (and maybe easiest) place to start is the power supply. I would
verify that the input voltage isn't dropping as the transmitter is keyed.

Subject: [TenTec] OMNI 6+ key clicks
Yesterday evening I got a complaint about key clicks from my OMNI VI+.
Checked this with the help of a neighbour ham this morning. Yes, key
clicks +- 10 kHz on all bands.
No changes in setup made before. So I guess anything went broken. Any
suggestions where to start with trouble shooting?
