Probably the actual VSWR AT the interal sensor. Add an electrical 10 M 1/4
wave jumper in current dummy load circuit to determine if it is due to
current line length and impedance.

While I suppose that's a possibility, it makes no sense that this
appears only on 10 m and not 12 m. Of course, the tuner can be
bypassed -- doing so makes no difference. I bypassed the internal
tuner and used my external tuner to get a 1.0:1 match. The display
shows me 1.6:1, which is exactly what it shows me when the internal
tuner believes it has found a match.
I'm stumped...
