Hi
And of course, Bob doesn't run his balanced feedline close to metal or other
unbalancing objects.

This is one of the reasons that I do not like the idea of running coax from
the tuner to the outside where it is then connected to a balun for the
purpose of using a balanced feed system. Oh I realize that the coax run is
short but at high SWR values coax gets very lossey. From my point of view I
rather deal with the balanced line, and it's not near as critical as most
think, all the way from the antenna feed point to the tuner/balun output.
I believe in extrapolating every tenth of a dB in performance out of a
system.
