Ten Tec didn’t go out of their way to source that meter. It’s a cheap ‘CB’ type
meter, and I bet they didn’t pay over .50 each for them.
when one in my scouts went out, I found a CB meter in the junk box, took the
old one apart and slipped the scale out
I put it into the new CB meter and it fits and works like factory.
If you don’t have a walk in junk box like me, try the surplus places like all
electronics.
