Doyle - Its some what of a pita to get to but the bottom two screws can be
reached with a long allen wrench - TT provided the holes which allow a long
allen wrebnch to get to those without taking out the subassembly that holds
the tubes and filament choke etc. The top two allen screws are not bad ,
just takes time a quarter turn at a time ! The ac line plugs in to the side
.
My fan started to squeal when it was only a few weeks old - and TT said to
try tightening the bearing s. That required remoiving the label onnthe fan -
and then I still had to remove the RFC and parasitic board to get to the
screws. I belive the fan will come out without doing that and that might
have been easier but I did not have long enough allen wrench at hand (I do
now ) .
I bought two replacement fans but have not needed them yet .
The stock one is a BISONIC 4E-115B-25 115vac /21w at 60 hz. There is one
that will fit exactly the same but is about 20 cfm more airflow its a
BISONIC 4E -115B 115vac /22w at 60 hz. I bought one of each from Mouser a
couple years ago less than $20 each .

Centurion owners.
The fan in my centurion amp is giving me problems (very noisy), can you
lubricate the fan or should it be replaced.
If replacement is necessary, how difficult is it to replace.
Thanks in advance.
