Mike,

Check out AG6K 's amplifier pages, there is a lot of info about quieting an amp, I used it to quiet my Titan it had a noisy Kilovac vacuum relay which I eventually replaced by a more silent type of vacuum relay.

here's the link

I have owned a Centaur amp. for some time but have not had time to use it
often. It has a very loud and distracting relay "clacking" that tries to
follow each dit and dah at lower speeds but holds in with short drop out
delay at 35 to 40 wpm. Has anyone had any luck isolating this relay from the
circuit board to prevent acoustically coupling, to soften the noise?
Would appreciate any constructive input. Thanks. Mike/K4KJC.
