Yes, that is the way to go. I've had it apart twice and both times I kicked
myself for not having some DeOxit to apply. By the way, sorry for the typos

Would putting some sort of "contact enhancer" such as DeOxit Gold (not
the regular red stuff) or Stabilant 22 help?
