I bought a low impedance Astatic mic for my Argonaut 509, but no where in the manual does it say how high the impedance needs to be. Should I try to match this with a small audio transformer in the mic or do I not need to worry so much. I think the only issue may be lower volume? maybe I could put the transformer in the rig? Or should I maybe get a whole speech processor? Ideas? Jeff Genung.
