As Barry asked "where and when did all this start?" I'll post this on 3 groups
to keep all parties informed.

It started as a posting on another discussion group asking if the Tentec net
was active, when and where. Then from discussions on another Tentec reflector
I found the following:

Although the original message was posted on the Omni VII reflector, it is open
to all regardless of radio. John did a good job handling the check in stations
with assistance from some "relay" stations. Comments were solicited and
discussions followed. The net did end up on 14.243 to prevent QRM to stations
a bit higher up the band. I think we all understand that the frequency may
need to be adjusted, as necessary, to prevent QRM to stations in QSO and to
provide good results for the net.

While 20M may not be the best band for US stations, overall it may be the best
choice. There was some discussion about a 40M frequency. I tend to agree that
starting 1 hr earlier might be a good idea and staying on 20M is a good idea at
present.

I look forward to another session next Sunday and look forward to more stations
being available. If there is another net being conducted, I'm not aware of its
existence.

Bob, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Eagle discussion group and the main
Ten-Tec reflector, up until your posting, knew nothing about this net.
Could you please post a few words of explanation?

  Thanks & 73,
