[TenTec] Argosy Noise Blanker Q

I recently acquired an analog Argosy with a noise blanker.   I'm looking for
some advice on what to expect from the noise blanker.  The PO assures me it
is working correctly, but I can't tell that it does anything.  I'm familiar
with Drake and Kenwood NBs and this certainly doesn't perform to those
