 Very subjective.  My Orion II is very good but I do find my Icom Pro III 
to have better intelligibility in many cases. (SSB)  All with identical 
external speakers/headphones.
I will have to say it also has to be impacted by ones level of hearing 
degradation....of which I suffer.
