I have also seen the connectors behind the Orion front panel cause this
problem. If you don't have any luck, remove the front panel and spray
all the connectors with a good electrical cleaner. Then connect and
unconnect about 10 times to clean them.

Subject: [TenTec] O II sub rcvr audio?
Hello All,
Set up for split freq ops with KG4TO xmitting, listening up. I could not
get any audio from SubRX. Panel set up just like Fig 4-2 of manual; Tx VFO
B, RX VFO A, SUB RX VFOB. Audio Menu with headphones set for Left=Main and
Right=Both. Nothing in right ear....no increase regardless of Sub AF audio
gain control knob.
I worked the dx, the old fashion way...cycling between A/B. Also found that
if I selected RX to VFO B the signals were nice and loud but of course the
DX station disappeared.
I tried all different combinations of the audio menu....this is the original
sub rx board, not the RX366. O II original owner since Aug 2006, no problems
before.
Any ideas?
