In 1974, the Dictionary of Electronics listed mf or mfd as alternate
ways to express microfarads. The use of nano fareds also came in about
post 1968 or so. Before, we had 0.01 mf caps, and 0.001 mf., etc. Now
they are usually identified in nanofarads.
