Two or three months ago when I struggling to get my Heil HM-1/HC-5 mic to
work with my Jupiter.. I bought one of these mics from Mucician's Choice
($9). IT works well although a little "bassie" for my tastes and certainly
provides adequate drive for the Jupiter. Lot of folks I QSO'd with liked
the sound of it.
I ended up purchasing the 2 band version of the W2IHY EQ unit which allows
me to use my Heil... so.. if anyone wants this Nady (see reviews on
EHam).. it is yours for shipping costs only (10 bucks at the outside would
be my guess.. less if you are a neighbor). Also came with a 20' XLR
cable.... you have to put a connector on it to match your rig. (I also have
a shorter one terminated for a Yaesu which I will throw in the box.
