Crystals missing or not oscillating for those bands. 29 and 29.5 may 
have been options as was aux.

Took me three hours the first one, haven't done a second. Its hand to 
work in a cafeteria tray to catch the loose balls from the drive and end 
thrust when they try to get away from you.

Cramolin has a product better for pots that DeoxIT, I've heard.

Might be if the crystals are present. Then a quarter drop of dexoIT on 
the switch contacts and some exercise may be a benefit.

Probably, take off the knobs, and the front panel. Find the three wires 
to the PTO and unsolder them, then unbolt the PTO. You'll need a bit of 
strong cord to get the slow dial back in place.
