It doesn't seem to work on my Orion II either. However, there is some
kind of effect if you have BinRx on and then unplug the headphones and
then plug them back in. Some times this will cause a strobing affect
between the headphones and you seem to be able to control the volume of
one of the headsets ear pieces with the sub af and the other with the
main af controls. I am not quite sure why. I have checked the
headphones on a stereo and they work there.

Grant,
I take it you mean an Orion I running V2. Are you saying that you hear lower
pitched signals more in the left headphone and higher pitched signals more
in the right? As you tune across a signal up the band, it moves left to
right? That's what I hear in V1, but not in V2.

As in previous V2 releases, BinRx doesn't work in 2.059d.
It changes
the audio, producing a sort of "surround sound"
effect, but doesn't create any spatial differentiation between CW
signals of different pitch.
I just checked it on my Orion v2 very carefully and it seems
to be working fine. So not sure what you might be experiencing.
