Jupiter just got a nice firmware update from Ten Tec,
maybe Argo V is next?
I'd like to see a "Press and hold" on the BAND button
that would reverse the order that the bands are
stepped through and remember the new direction.
There should be no need to cycle through every band
just to get to the one you just passed. To Argo's
credit, there are no relays, the band switching is
100% electronic, and it happens as fast as you can
press the BAND button.
I'd also like to see the 6db attenuation removed from
the lower 500 cycles of the transmitted SSB signal, to
make the radio sound the same on SSB as it does on AM
or FM fone.
No other nits here at this moment, this is one
buttoned down little rig, simple and functional.
