What was the generic "cure"? major design or what?
Disc = 3.2v MP chip major change? Sounds much different.
Somewhere in my files is a battery mod I believe it's on the
"unofficial" Ten Tec
site for the details. Look under "mods".
Enjoyed the comments here, keep them coming. I picked up a damaged unit
and am working on it now.

There is an ARRL Review for the 585. QST May 1988 pg36. I don't think
they did
one on the II version.
