Bill, while I did not notice the drift on the receiver, I did notice the
jumping. The receiver would jump frequency. But, as someone mentioned,
the transmitter drift appeared to be heat related, and they recommended
a CPU fan to reduce, or eliminate the drift. I wish I had kept one of
the Scouts so that I could try it. But, when going portable, a fan is
just another device to carry. Oh well...
