you maybe right, but you'll have to still have some outboard component
unless your willing to put that much rf inside your pc not to mention the
amount of heat a 100 watt rig generates. Well ok, maybe the technology will
be so great that 100 watt amps will run cooler than any pc.
I doubt a little plugin card will be in the future as a rig anytime soon. I
imagine as great an idea that is, there's soooo much to overcome in the
legistics and practicalities of such a venture. However, a laptop with such
a device installed would be the mother of all field rigs.
Of course what do I know.<g>
