The 229 series tuners all match the Corsair I. One is in a kit form and
the other
was a factory built unit but both were the same tuner. The one that would
match
the Corsair II is the 238 tuner, like I have and will never sell, and it is a
light colored grey faced unit. In all actuality, the 229, 229b, and 238
tuners are
all schematically the very same tuner. Just the 238 is the newer and
matches the
Omni5/6, Paragons, and Corsair II rigs. Happy hunting and they usually
sell for
about $225 - $275 on used market as they are still in production at Ten Tec.
