It seems that one really needs a stable steady
signal, both in frequency and level to do this job.
Short of homebrewing a crystal calibrator (since
these seem to be few are far between these days,
even on ebay), what do people use for a good steady
signal source for this job. Off the air signals
seem to have enough QSB to be a problem and without
a second rig to use for a source, I was curious
what other people used...
