Mike, I recently added a Heil Goldline to my Omni 6+,
and find the same problem. Try toe boost position on
the mike (pardon). I find audio to be:
1. Best with the Heil in boost.
2. Next best with the Tem-Tec mike.
3. Not pleasing with the Heil in wide position.
I haven't resolved this with Heil, but so far, it is
not worth the cost over the Ten-Tec.
