Gentlemen: I have to admit I enjoy working contest (CW), and I wonder if
any of you have had the experience of calling a station only to be told
'we have worked B4'? This has happened to me a few times and I have no
solid explanation. I have a rudimentary logging program and could not
find a duplicate call, or one that was even close! I have an OMNI V (500
cycle filter-that will give you a clue to the age group here), and I am
beginning to suspect that sometime, when we are working a weak one close
to a rock crusher, we occasionally manage to unknowingly work two at
once. Is this rare? Am I finally losing it, or is it somewhat more
common than I would have realized? Anyone have a similar experience?
I've been on the reflector for about a year now. Really enjoy it -even
the spats. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Charlie K0GPF
