I am running my Omni 6 + into an QRO HF2500DX and have not seen
this problem either. Of course the HF2500 does not require 100
watts of drive either. Before the HF2500 I was running an old
Yaesu FL2000B that did need the full 100 watts to drive it and
again experienced no problems. I also monitor my output signal
and have seen no evidence of spikes nor have I had any reports
of key clicks on my signal.
