Sir: I too have both. The 564 is the VI+ while the 563 no mater what
revision, is a VI.
You need to get the right info for the guys at TenTec.
They are the same as far as the electronics go, but you may not advertize a 563
rev 3
as a VI+. The only differences are the front and rear panels BUT one is a 563
and the
other is a 564.

Yes, it is an Omni VI with factory option 3.
