The Argonaut 505 is common at ham fests in Texas. Working they go for about $65-75. Non working, a friend got one with fried finals for $5. Finals can be substituted with a 4xxx transistor available at Tanner's Electronics in Dallas, or from Dan's Small Parts and Kits on the web.
