I use a pair of Radio Shack cans. The big ones with full ear coverage and soft cushions. Audio is at about 35% for comfortable listening level. I suspect your phones are high impedance otherwise above 16 ohms at which the headphone volume will be reduced. Typically the headphone impedance should be 8 to 16 ohms.

I have a Heil Noise Canceling Headset. Whenever I plug in the headphones, the volumne dramatically drops and requires that I really 'crank' the volume up. Of course, when I pull out the plug, I get blasted by the speaker. Is this a known issue or do I have an "unique issue' to be addressed with TenTec?
Tnx
Tom
