Well yes, but being a "hot operator" alone isn't enough.
You have to be a hot operator with a good track record.
My definition of "kids" is "under 50!" ;-)
There are exceptions but 90% of the participants were U50.

There is a VERY competitive qualifications process, at least in the US.
Some really hot operators out here don't make it.
