[TenTec] new set of paddles for my Jupiter

Hello all !  I am looking to get a new set of paddles I am tired of my crappy 
mfj paddle.  can any one tell me the difference between a spring action and the 
magnetic action .  I like the kent model and I may get one if the magnetic 
action is not a poor design .  thanks for your input .     John  kb2huk
