TR-Log 6.31 got me through the VK-ZL CW Test this weekend; the latest
revision of the VK-ZL worked great. (One minor change to suggest: The
VK/ZL folks no longer include 160 meters in the scoring, so 160 doesn't
need to show up on the bands list.)
Post 6.31 sort of worked, got through the "post contest log massage",
band-log building, and summary, etc., until I tried the "List Multipliers"
command. This one is broken. It produced a run-time error, which I
forgot to write down. Trying to reproduce the problem, I got as far as
Post R(eport) L(ist mults) Each band? (Y) Each mode? (Y) Output to (F)ile
("Screen" always scrolls off my 486 before I can read it)... The program
responded with "Searching log for multipliers...." and went away forever.
Control-Alt-Delete reset-type forever. Missing overlay, perhaps?
I went back to Post (6.29) and used it to re-do everything, just in case.
It worked fine. And sort of confirmed my feeling that the only VK1 and
VK7 in the universe must have talked with each other on two-meter simplex
for the whole CW 24 hours <grin>; I didn't exactly have a huge mult list
:-)....
Regards to all,
