[Trlog] TRlog networking laptops - NETTSR?

I am getting ready for an upcoming dxpedition, and the issue of networking
laptops has come up.

Has anyone suceeded in developing a TR equivilant to NETTSR which
would allow TR to run across ethernet?

Failing that, what pcmcia serial cards have people found effective?
