If this is already in TRLog, forgive my intrusion
on the bandwidth.
I built a "Radio Shack Special" DVK that I trigger
via TRLog. It uses the radio's VOX, not the PTT
circuit.
I'd rather have TR switch from transmit to receive
for me. Would it be possible to have f1-f4 for the
DVK also send the PTT line high for a configurable
amount of time (different time for each DVK key),
ala:
DVK PTT DELAY1 = 7500
DVK PTT DELAY2 = 5000
DVK PTT DELAY3 = 4000
etc...above time is in milliseconds. This way, if
we have DVK's that don't directly activate the
radio's PTT line, we can skip the clumsy VOX and
have TRLog do the keying much more elegantly.
Probably pretty easy to implement and very useful.
Please give it some thought.
Thanks,
Scott, N9SD
