I think I've found the location of my problem.
When I cable the external monitor directly to my
Thinkpad laptop, I get real yellow.  When I go through
my docking station for the laptop, I get the orange.
I'll take the d/s apart today and look for an unsoldered
wire.  It has worked correctly in the past, so this is
the first idea that occurs to me.
