Again, it is similar to his VP2MUM recordings, but you only hear a
single signal from the waterfall this time, instead of the entire
waterfall cacophony.
Since I apply a narrow and very deep (Blackman window) bandpass filter
in cocoaModem before sending the selected signal to the RTTY
demodulator, I figured that I might as well also send it to the
headphones output of the computer. You can either choose a floating
tone pair (same pitch as the selected signal on the audio spectrum) or
a constant tone pair (remodulated to a fixed tone pair that the user
chooses). Tom is using the latter option in this recording -- no
matter where he clicks on the waterfall, you hear the same tone pair
on the headphones.
