Of course it makes a difference. If your AFSK is LSB, SPACE should be
170 Hz *higher* than MARK. If your AFSK is USB, SPACE should be 170 Hz
*lower* than MARK.
With a MARK of 915 Hz, it sounds as if you are using a K3 in AFSK A
mode. The normal sideband for the K3 in AFSK is LSB so your SPACE
would be 1085 Hz.
