Thanks to all who have replied, either directly or through the mail 
reflector. I guess my next step is to start using a sound card 
interface, as that was universally suggested. That will also allow me to 
use MMTTY which is included with WinWarbler.

In spite of the tuning difficulties with the KAM, I managed to work 
EK8PL in Armenia on 14084 this morning!
